Weird Carolina: Ad placement

In South Carolina, they see nothing inappropriate about advertising Disney on Ice in the parking lot of an establishment called Scooters and Hooters.

I'm not going to make any jokes about Disney princesses working the lunch shift but I will say they totally stole the name of my future biker strip club.

Weird Carolina: All I want for Christmas

Driving around Greenville, I've been able to add some things to my Christmas list.

A mini helicopter. 

I spotted it outside of a drug testing facility. I'm not sure what they need it for but I just know I want one, also in bright yellow. 

 A two story blow up gorilla. 

I also don't know what a giant gorilla has to do with cheap car washing but I'd like two for the backyard. 

A snazzy moped. 

Pretty sure this woman was drunk

And finally, a subscription to Garden & Gun magazine. 

Only in the South

Because, I have a garden and uh, I should never own a gun.

Weird Carolina: Terror on the highway

You see a lot of unusual things down here (like unrefrigerated grocery meats) but this truly takes the cake. Chris and I were on our way to the store when my worst nightmare drove by.

Apparently evil clowns drive SUVs.

It figures they wouldn't support a greener planet. Being evil clowns and all.
